Beneath the ocean’s surface lies our planet’s most complex ecosystems, full of life and potential for exploration and learning, where each inhabitant has a role to play in building a thriving environment.
During the 2024-2025 FIRST season, FIRST DIVE℠ presented by Qualcomm, teams will use their STEM and collaboration skills to explore life beneath the surface of the ocean. Along the way, we’ll uncover the potential in each of us to strengthen our community and innovate for a better world with healthy oceans.
Celebrate Your Team's Accomplishments at a FIRST Chesapeake Festival
The FIRST LEGO League Explore season ends with festivals, where students showcase their team models and posters and share what they've learned with volunteers, friends, and family. It is also a wonderful opportunity for teams to meet other teams and learn from one another.
Each student attending at FIRST Chesapeake FLL Explore Festival will receive a medal designed for this year's theme. Each team will be given an award based on low key interviews with Reviewers.
Festivals are half day events. They will occur in Maryland starting in December and ending in May.
Register with FIRST® Inspires
Teams will need to start the registration process with national FIRST® registration. The registration fee provides your national team number, team meeting guides, engineering notebooks, and the ability to register for a regional FLL Explore Festival.
To ensure the safety of our youth, all program volunteers, coaches, and mentors must be screened as part of the FIRST® Youth Protection Program.
