INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION

The information provided through the Registration System is essential for FIRST Chesapeake to accurately identify each team, its supporters, and to ensure that competition data remains precise.

FIRST Chesapeake is committed to respecting the privacy of all participants in its programs. We protect personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

TEAM REGISTRATION

Every FIRST Chesapeake team must designate two adults who are registered in our system to act as Coach/Mentor 1 and Coach/Mentor 2 for the season. Each contact must use a unique, personal email account that is not shared with others.

For teams in the Chesapeake District both Coach/Mentor figures must undergo a screening process, which includes a criminal background check and a sex offender registry check, in line with the FIRST Youth Protection Policies available on the FIRST Chesapeake website.

Due to the potential for internet firewalls at educational institutions that might block school email accounts from receiving emails, it is advised that personal email accounts, such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail, be used. This ensures timely receipt of all communications from FIRST Chesapeake. The designated Coach/Mentor 1 and Coach/Mentor 2 are recognized by FIRST Chesapeake as the only individuals authorized to manage the team's information in the Registration System.

By selecting the "I agree" button on your user profile, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

You are 13 years of age or older.
You understand that maintaining the accuracy of team information is a shared responsibility between the Coach/Mentor 1 and Coach/Mentor 2.
